Trip Introduction:
The Khopra Ridge Treks provides equally remarkable views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna range though it is located away from the busier trails of Annapurna region. Along with many sources of attraction we can see holy Khayer Lake which is another source of attraction and you should have walk extra few hours from the Khopra Ridge to reach in this lake.

After the tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu we drive to Pokhara to start this trek. If you are wishing to enjoy the grandeur of Mt. Annapurna while also taking pleasure in the solace of a more remote trail this route will be perfect option.

Khopra Ridge (4,620m/15,153ft) is reached by a steady climb of alpine meadows and pastures and offers views of the Kali Gandaki River with views of the farthest valley in the deepest gorge in the world. From the ridge of mountains, there is a shimmering panorama of ice and snow. This is a classic Nepalese hiking trail that includes panoramic views of pastoral villages, paddy fields, jungles, wildlife and views of Himalaya. After the firsthand experience of the classic village Ghandrug, Tatopani and Beni you will have sense of joy and back to Pokhara, the city of Joy.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara valley (823m/2,700ft)
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk village (1940m/6360 ft) 4-6 hrs walk
Day 05: Ghandruk village to Bayli Kharka(3450m/11316ft) 5 hrs walk
Day 06: Trek from Baili Kharka - Khopra Danda (Ridge) (3660m/12004ft) 5hrs walk
Day 07: Hike up to Khayer Lake(4,620m/15,153ft) and back to Khopra for Overnight
Day 08: Khopra to Narchyang (1510m/4952ft) 4 hrs walk
Day 09: Narchyang to Tatopani (1190m/3903ft) 4hrs walk & Drive to Beni and continue drive to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft)
Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft), 5-6 hrs drive
Day 11: Departure from Kathmandu
