Overview

Trip Introduction:
ountaineers have two options to climb Everest. They can attempt from Tibet (North) or from Nepal (South). For those intending to attempt to climb Everest from Nepal either from the Nepal, the Everest Base Camp (South) is situated at an altitude of 5,364m/17,598ft.

The Everest Base Camp Trek itineraries are designed for trekkers who desire to experience the ultimate trekking adventure of the Himalayas. Our carefully tailored itineraries are made to make sure that you have proper acclimatization en route. In this trek, we will take you as high as Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,204ft), the highest altitude we will ascend during the trek. Kala Patthar offers trekkers the majestic view of Mt. Everest. The trek is designed to give you adrenaline rush and the whole experience can be tough, but equally rewarding.

The adventurous journey to Everest Base Camp starts from Kathmandu from where we take a trans-Himalayan mountain flight to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft). From Lukla, we walk by many giant mountains, through numerous culturally rich Sherpa villages including the likes of Phakding and Namche Bazaar. Many of those villages are home to the most famous and daring mountaineers of the world including Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Apa Sherpa. The trek also takes you to Tengboche Monastery, which is the Buddhist monastery located at the highest elevation.
