Trip Introduction
Everest Base Camp trek is designed to fulfill the dream of those trekkers who wish exploring Himalaya at leisure. Trekkers having sound health and physical fitness can sign up for the 20 days of ultimate traverse of Khumbu valley, along with exploring natural and cultural wonder of the small Himalaya region of Nepal.

Our custom-tailored itinerary of the Everest treks ensures proper acclimatization en route and takes you up to Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,204ft), from where you can enjoy the breathtaking vistas of surrounding mountains, including Mount Everest.

This memorable journey to Everest Base Camp starts with a Trans-Himalayan flight to the mountain airstrip of Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft). It is an earliest passage en route of Everest base camp, which takes you through the famous Sherpa villages, Phakding and the gateway to Mt. Everest - Namche Bazaar. Everest trek further adds a visit to the Buddhist monastery of Tengboche, located at the highest elevation in the world.

Is this holiday for you?
This trek is principally an adventure activity in Himalaya.  It should be noted, however, that trekking above 3000 meters makes greater demands on the body than walking at low elevations. You have to understand that the trekking in Himalaya means uphill and downhill walking in remote part. So your health and physical fitness plays the vital role for completing this lifetime adventure. On this trek technical experience is not required, hiking experience is good, but the most essential thing is your physical strength and mental determination. This trekking does not involve any serious technical walking and mountaineering. Our itinerary is well staged to allow the best possible acclimatization in during your trek period and provides more time below 4000m includes acclimatization days at Namche Bazaar and at Dingboche Village. To get the most out of this holiday, you should be comfortable walking for 4 to 6 hours each day and for several days continuously and reaches at highest place more than 5000m/16,400+ feet. This holiday should be accessible to any active person with a sense of adventure.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing & trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) & trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft), 3-4 hrs walk
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
Day 06: Namche to Khumjung (3,790m/12,431ft), 4-5 hrs walk
Day 07: Khumjung to Phortse (3,840m/12,595ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Day 08: Phortse to Dingboche (4,358m/14,295 ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Day 09: Acclimatization day at Dingboche
Day 10: Dingboche to Dungla (4620m/15,158ft), 3-4 hours walk
Day 11: Dungla to Lobuche (4,928m/16164 ft), 2-3 hrs walk
Day 12: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,160m/16,929ft) & hike to Kalapatthar (5,550m/18,204ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Day 13: Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp (5,316m/17,437ft) to Gorekshep, 4-5 hrs walk
Day 14: Gorekshep to Pheriche (4,200m/13,776ft), 5-6 hrs walks
Day 15: Pheriche to Tyangboche (3,867m/12684ft), 4-5 hrs walk
Day 16: Tyangboche to Monjo ((2680M/8791ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Day 17: Monjo to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft), 4-5 hrs walk
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 19: Leisure at Kathmandu
Day 20: Departure from Kathmandu

Note: Because of bad weather we could face problem of domestic flights to/from Lukla delayed by few hours or canceled for a day or more. Very rarely, but it could happen even in best trekking season also as you know how climate changes effecting our world. Thus, we always recommend you to add supplement night/s in Kathmandu after your trek if possible (just for incase). If everything runs smoothly, you can enjoy other activities like sightseeing, White water rafting, wildlife activities, shopping, as you wish in those additional day. However, if you want heli rescue in the state of flight cancellation to/from Lukla-we can organize it as per your request with extra cost.

  • All airport and hotel transportation by private vehicle in Kathmandu as per itinerary suggested.
  • Deluxe twin sharing accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast
  • Welcome & farewell dinner in Kathmandu (Alcoholic beverages are excluded)
  • All domestic airfares as per the itinerary suggested
  • Full board meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea & coffee) in during the trek
  • Seasonal fruits during the trek are provided
  • Comfortable & clean accommodation on teahouse/lodge during the trek
  • Government Registered Trek guide (English speaking, First Aid and eco trained), Sherpa porter (one porter for two trekkers)
  • All necessary paper works, Sagarmatha National park entry fee and permits & TIMS card
  • Down jacket, four seasonal sleeping bag, Nepal Vision Treks duffel bag, t-shirt, and trekking map (down jacket and sleeping bag are to be returned after trip completion)
  • First aid exclusive medical kit bag
  • All government and local taxes
  • Visa fees (You can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu so (bring accurate USD cash and two passport photographs))
  • International airfare to and from Kathmandu
  • Lunch and dinner in city except welcome & fare well dinner (and also in the case of early return from the mountain than the scheduled plan)
  • Any extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary plan
  • Travel and rescue insurance
  • Personal trekking Equipment
  • Personal expenses e.g. phone calls, laundry, bar bills, bottle or boiled water, shower
  • Cost arising out of landslides, road blockade, and rescue of any form, cancellation of flight or reasons beyond our control
